"GOD’S VISION”

“Where there is no vision (revelation from God), the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18

“… I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions;” Joel 2:28 was fulfilled on Pentecost in Acts 2:16-18.

God gives His Spirit filled people revelation, visions and dreams from His Word. They are happy and moved. The person who has not been born again or is a baby Christian does not receive God’s revelation, visions and dreams. They live in the past, resist and complain. Two visions, the vision of man and God’s vision equals division, even if it is subtle. Acts 1:42 says, “these all continued with one accord” and Acts 2:1 and 4 says, “they were all with one accord” and “they were all filled with the Holy Spirit….”

“But it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 1:9-10a and 14.

Pray for Gloucester Point Baptist Church to be Spirit filled, united as one with God’s vision at this opportune time as the church seeks God’s pastor-teacher.
